Weather Related Service Update: ETA

Tropical moisture in southern Florida may produce flooding in advance of the approach of Tropical Depression Eta. In the Pacific Northwest, U.S. strong storms will bring widespread lower elevation rain, heavy mountain snow, and gusty winds to the western states. Dry winds ahead of the front will produce critical fire weather threats for the eastern U.S. Sierra-Nevada mountains, Central Great Basin, and portions of the Plains.
